Samsung The Frame TV installation
Samsung The Frame is one of our favorite TVs to install. The point is the finished look: a screen that hangs flat against the wall like a picture, with the One Connect box included in the setup. We enjoy getting those details right so the wall feels complete instead of leaving the devices as an afterthought.
Tell us your TV size, what the wall is made of and where you want the screen. Have the mount, One Connect box and cables ready if you already own them. We can help you think through the height and placement when we arrive, before the installation begins.
How we do it
We begin with the position of the screen. Although The Frame has a picture-like appearance, it is still a TV you will watch. For a living room, seated eye level is our usual starting point: about 42 inches from the floor to the center of the screen for most sofas. We discuss your preferred position and the room with you.
The wall and mount come next. We check that the mounting approach suits the TV and the wall. If the ideal location has no studs, the size of the TV matters. Anchor-only installation on drywall is limited to TVs up to 55 inches; larger screens can need wood blocking, which is extra work agreed before starting.
We set up the One Connect box along with the TV. If you have other devices, such as a console, cable box or receiver, tell us about those too. We also install device shelves and soundbars, so the visit can bring the wider setup together rather than leaving you to plan each piece separately.
We discuss cable concealment for the wall you actually have. On drywall, cables can go inside the wall. Where we cannot use that approach, a slim paintable cord cover keeps the route tidy. Planning this alongside the box and device positions helps achieve the clean look you want.
What we don't do and why
We do not put the screen high simply because there is blank wall space. We talk about how you watch it as well as how it looks. If furniture or a fireplace affects the position, let us know so that constraint is part of the discussion.
We do not install a mount that is unsuitable for the TV or wall, and we do not cut into brick or concrete just to hide cables. If a location requires additional wall blocking, we explain that work and agree on it with you first. A clean appearance still needs a suitable mounting method.
Frequently asked questions
Do you set up the One Connect box too?
Yes. Our Samsung The Frame installation includes setting up the One Connect box and mounting the TV so it hangs flat against the wall like a picture. Keep the box and its cables nearby, and tell us about any other devices you want included in the setup.
Can you add a soundbar or a shelf at the same visit?
Yes. We install soundbars and shelves for cable boxes, consoles and receivers. We have our own soundbar mounts or can use yours. Mention the additional equipment when booking so we can plan the complete setup and allow time for the work.
Can you hide cables on every wall?
On drywall, we can hide cables inside the wall. Where we cannot go inside — including brick, concrete or exterior walls — we use a slim paintable cord cover. We do not cut into brick or concrete just to hide a wire. The aim is a clean result that suits the actual wall.
How long does installation take?
A standard TV mount on drywall takes about an hour for most TVs. Concealing cables, working on brick or concrete, adding a soundbar or mounting a very large TV adds time — usually up to two or three hours in total. We tell you the expected time before we start, and we do not rush to squeeze in more appointments.
What if the TV is not quite level afterward?
Call us. Our installation warranty is up to three years and covers our work and the mount installation. Even if the issue is small, such as a TV sitting slightly off level, we will come back and fix it. Our goal is simple: you should be happy with the result.
