I had requested a ceiling tv mount because I wanted to see the brick finish on my fireplace (not real brick but pretty). I hadn’t checked for studs in the ceiling, but the tech Stan confirmed there were no studs available for installation in my zone or at all. We went with the wall installation. Stan was AWESOME!!! I was struggling to mount my TV on a stone fireplace in my new home.
